Locus Energy helps renewable integrators easily monitor, maintain and optimize performance across a fleet of installed systems. The SolarOS platform provides comprehensive web-based system monitoring for commercial and residential installation professionals as well as easy access for site owners.

System installers and operators have access to an advanced cloud-based asset management platform with tools for diagnosing underperforming sites, tracking alerts, PPA billing, and other O&M functions. Site owners and hosts logon to attractive and easy to understand web portals to view power production and environmental offsets.

Virtual Irradiance^™

Virtual Irradiance is a patent pending software service providing highly accurate estimates of historical and real-time solar irradiance across North America. The service is offered as an add-on for all users of the SolarOS residential and commercial monitoring platform. The service establishes baseline irradiance estimates derived from NASA/NOAA satellite imagery and National Weather Service weather feeds, and then iteratively refines the estimates by data mining performance data collected from Locus Energy’s network of several thousand monitoring sites across the U.S.

Locus Energy is the largest independent monitoring provider in North America with over 10,000 systems distributed PV systems under management. For residential installations, Locus has developed a line of custom devices which function as combined power meters and Internet gateways. For commercial and utility-scale installations, Locus integrates certified third-party metering and datalogging components into pre-built NEMA enclosures for easy installation. In addition to systems monitored by its own hardware, Locus manages another 100,000 data feeds through OEM partners.
